Squash & Racketball

With a membership of approaching three hundred, the Club has a good mix of male, female, student and junior players and for the latter there is coaching throughout the season plus a summer school. Barnsley Squash and Racketball Club has always fielded teams in both the Yorkshire Leagues and Sheffield and District Leagues. It runs its own internal leagues and club championships for members. With a notable history, the Club is in a healthy position and has a great future. As testimony to this, the Club has been awarded the Silver Club Certificate of Excellence by England Squash.   We have 5 courts, 2 of which are glass-backed and have seating for spectators, and a lively bar area with sports TV.
